Improving Transfusion Service Across BC

Transparent Blood Inventory
To facilitate the BC Blood Contingency Plan, health authorities, Canadian Blood Services and the BC Provincial Blood Coordinating Office have collaborated to implement the Transparent Blood Inventory System (TBI) .

IVIG Request Module
The PBCO has developed an IVIG Request Module as an expansion of the Central Transfusion Registry (CTR).  This tool was developed to provide health authorities with a web based system to assist in securely, efficiently and effectively managing requests for intravenous immune globulin (IVIG).

SCIG Home Infusion Program
The SCIG Home Infusion Resource Kit is now available for any health authorities and/or hospitals that would like to establish their own subcutaneous immune globulin (SCIG) home infusion program. SCIG Home Infusion Resource Kit
